Adele's weight loss journey was one of major changes taking many of her fan base by surprise the previous year, especially after the Grammy award earning singer publicly shared many photos of her much-improved slender self on social media. However, her latest interview with Vogue disclosed that her weight loss was in fact different than what it first appeared to be.

The singer confessed frankly that it grew into a sort of "addiction" to "get her mind right," and instead of intending to lose any amount of weight, Adele turned to exercise to address her anxiety as a type of self-therapy. She then added, saying that she did her actual exercise along with her trainer 3X daily, but admitted that this approach may not be quite "doable" for a lot of people because of cost, nor even precisely healthy for the average joe.

Her personal trainer, Pete Geracimo, now disclosed a glimpse into Adele's real motivating drive for becoming fit. In his instagram post, Pete confided: "My hope is that people appreciate the hard work that Adele has done to improve herself for the benefit to her and her family only. She did not lose the weight to make others feel bad about themselves. She is doing it for herself and for Angelo."

He went on to add: "When Adele and I started our journey together, it was never about getting super skinny. It was about getting her healthy. Especially post-pregnancy and post-surgery. When 25 dropped and the tour was announced, we had to get ready for a 13-month grueling schedule. In that time, she warmed up to training and made better food choices."


2.  Practiced reformer Pilates

Everyone knows that the English adore a decent cup of tea; however, Adele previously confided her love for tea was actually negatively impacting her with exorbitant sugar intake. She even confessed: "I used to drink 10 cups a day with two sugars in each, so I was on 20 sugars a day."

The singer informed Vogue she lost serious weight only for herself. But back in the year 2017, she fired back at online trolls, comparing her Grammy's appearance to Shrek's Princess Fiona.

Talking to the public while in Australia, she shared: "I wore this dress, right. Everyone said I looked like Fiona. I don't care. It was Givenchy couture! They can say what they want."

Metro said that Adele also commented: "I worked out. Obviously, I'm a large lady and I like eating food very much, but I was working out twice a day to fit into that Givenchy dress because it was quite tight."
